Harbor recalls attending Holy Trinity Elementary School, Fermin Lasuen and San Pedro High Schools and one teacher that impacted and influenced his career; and his father prophetically insisting he participate in the Boys Club.
One of San Pedro’s favorite sons, Mike is a leader and advocate for youth and education. His personal history as a teacher, athletic coach and former member of the Los Angeles Unified School District board of education prepared him well to be at the helm of the B&GC that has served thousands of young people (in locations in San Pedro, Wilmington, Harbor Gateway, and has many outstanding athletic, aesthetic and academic programs including “College Bound.” For more see the website: https://www.bgclaharbor.org/
