Dan’s career in the newspaper business working with News Pilot and Daily Breeze (Copley News) started as a truck driver. He went on to provide leadership in numerous capacities including five years as Circulation Manager for the News Pilot. 

He and his wife Sue chose to reside in Wilmington over 47 years ago because of being close to work. He emphasizes how important church affiliation has been in making friends and building relationships.

After exiting the news business he he served WCC for 17 years.  Dan’s commitment to the WCC mission: “The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce promotes, supports and enhances a positive business environment and improves the quality of life in the community”  demonstrates and his dedication during his tenure and continuing.

Always affable and positive, Dan is a wonderful role model for youth and mature members of the Wilmington and all communities.
