Stories of L.A. Harbor Area: For Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow (SOLAHA)

Vol. II, No. 53 Local filmmaker and SOLAHA co-producer/director, Jack Baric warmly recalls playing outside while growing up in San Pedro.

From seasonal sports and go karting in the street to dirt ride biking and rafting in a big field that the kids called “The Gulley”, Baric memories all of his boyhood adventures with friends and family are like a passage from the great American novel Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain. Full of innocent, occasionally dangerous, rambunctious fun.
