Stories Of Los Angeles Harbor Area – For Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow (SOLAHA)

Vol. II, No. 21 – Tim McOsker reminisces about summer fun in the upper fields of South Shores and “Marineland By The Sea.”

More charming “old fashioned” stories from Tim and his large happy family who moved to South Shores when he was a baby, that reminds of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn innocent fun. Marineland was a unique and wonderful place that was always where out family took out of town visitors and enjoyed dining in the Catalina Room. Today it is just fond memory (like Ports O’Call Village & Restaurant) and very missed; and where Terranea is located with some tributes to the amazing sea-quarium.(see Wikipedia for more.)
