The SOLAHA Movie for Volumes II and III

Stories of LA Harbor Area: For Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow (SOLAHA) oral history project documents stories from a diverse group of people who were born or resided San Pedro, Wilmington, Palos Verdes Peninsula, and surrounding communities of the Port of Los Angeles, or emigrated from elsewhere in USA or abroad.

Participants recount stories about relationship, memories of growing up, businesses they worked in or started, and many other recollections.

There are six volumes. Vol. VII to be filmed in December 2025. Segments are released via internet weekly or bi-weekly and then posted at the website.

SOLAHA was launched in 2018, made possible by grant funding from Los Angeles County authorized by Supervisor Janice Hahn, District 4.

It is filmed under auspices of LA Harbor International Film Festival (LAHIFF) a 501c3 non-profit organization. Donations are welcome and tax deductible to the extent the law allows.
